Mission-Driven
Pan Atlantic is a firm specialized in creating high-quality non-immigrant cultural and professional experiences for non-Americans to train and intern in the US. Our goal is to introduce the essence of the United States to bright and talented people from outside the United States so that they may return to their home countries with a positive feeling about the United States of America.
We bring together reputable US organizations who want to Host foreign Interns or Trainees. For over 30 years, we have been designated by the US State Department as a Sponsor of the Intern and Trainee Categories of the J-1 Visa program.

Our organization is staffed by talented and dedicated professionals with significant experience in international business, government, international education and exchange as well as the J-1 visa program.

Spencer Jones

Spencer Jones
Before joining Pan Atlantic Spencer worked at CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange. During his nearly 8 year tenure at CIEE Mr. Jones was responsible for diverse operational divisions, creating significant growth in areas such as High School and GAP year, Teach Abroad, Undergraduate Study Abroad, Enterprise Foundations and Insurance. Prior to CIEE, Mr. Jones held leadership roles at a variety of firms in the US and Latin America. He is a graduate of Williams College. He and his wife are the father of four nearly adult sons.

Libby Lauze
Libby came to Pan Atlantic from CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange, where she held leadership roles in the Undergraduate Study Abroad division for over 10 years. As a Russian/East European Studies major at Middlebury College, Libby spent her junior year abroad studying at Moscow State University in Moscow, Russia. This overseas experience put her on a lifelong path to promoting the benefits of international education and ensuring that appreciation of different cultures is an integral part of the education of young people. In her free time, Libby enjoys exploring Maine with her husband and two children.

Paige Holtsclaw
Travel advocate. Animal Lover. Eternal Optimist. Paige graduated from the University of Southern Maine, with a degree in Sociology. While attending USM, she worked in the International Programs Office, and found that she is passionate about peer advising and the international community. At Pan Atlantic Exchanges, she is pleased to still be assisting people from all over the world fulfill their goals of training in the United States. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with a local animal shelter, staying active by hiking and doing yoga, and being out and about in her hometown of Portland.

Becky Chase

Becky Chase
Becky Chase holds a B.A. in International Relations and European Studies from Goucher College in Maryland. She brings a varied professional background to our team at Pan Atlantic, having previously been employed in TV/film production, education, and legal services. In her free time, Becky can be found enjoying her summer home on an island in Casco Bay, playing tennis and croquet, and slowing building her illustration portfolio. She is the author/illustrator of the recently published coloring book, Downeast Daydream: A Maine Coloring Vacation.
